Privacy Policy

Policy version 1.0

Note: this page describes, in plain language, what this platform actually does with data today. It is a starting point, not a substitute for review by a qualified privacy attorney - especially before adding any new data use, expanding to new jurisdictions, or sharing data with any third party.

Information we collect

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your session, and protect against CSRF attacks. The site cannot function without these.

Optional cookies are off unless you explicitly enable them, and nothing beyond the essential cookies above is active until you do. Your choice (and when you made it) is recorded so it can be honored and changed at any time from Settings.

How information is used

Solely to operate the chat service: authenticating you, delivering messages, and displaying profile information to other users where you've chosen to share it.

Third parties

We do not sell or share your personal information or chat content with third parties. If that were ever to change, it would require an update to this policy and a fresh, explicit, opt-in choice from you before it applied - not a retroactive change to this agreement.

Data retention

Guest identities and their conversations become unreachable once your session ends - by design, since guest use is meant to be anonymous and ephemeral. Account data and the conversations tied to it persist until you request deletion.

Your rights

You can update or remove your profile information at any time from Settings. A dedicated account-deletion flow and a formal contact channel for data requests are on the roadmap and not yet built - if you need either before then, this is a placeholder to fill in with a real contact method.

Changes to this policy

The version number at the top of this page identifies which policy was in effect at a given time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated version.
